Anderson Lodge Hilltop House is the perfect place to enjoy great contemporary classical music deep in the natural world. Hear the World Premiere of Tomas Svoboda's 10th String Quartet and the music of Chen Yi.

Everyone is invited to spend Saturday at Yale School. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
A special community quilt show will begin at 11 am.
At 1 pm sharp young musicians on the piano and clarinet, award -winning "Reach for the Stars" dancers, and Lelooska Foundation Masked Dancers will perform.
Children can create landscape painting, printmaking and miniature button blankets with experienced artists from approximately 2 to 4 pm.
The Theodora Appling Community Quilt Show features the work of people living in the Yale, Cougar and Dubois Road areas. The exhibition is open in the Yale School Gym from 11 am to 5 pm. This art form has been flourishing in the Lewis River region. If you live up river and you would like to exhibit a quilt, call Cheryl Rietman, 360-231-4146 by Saturday, July 19 to let her know the size of your piece. You may show something small or full size. Quilts must be delivered between 8 and 9 am on Saturday July 26th and must be picked up between 5:30 and 6:30 pm that evening after the exhibition.
Please include a typed or printed paragraph with the name of quilt, the maker and the history, if relevant. Every effort will be made to respect the integrity of the quilts. Racks will be constructed ahead of time and people will always be present to watch the quilts.
However, each artist accepts the risk of any soiling or damage.
"Wedding Bouquet" quilted with the "Meandering Hearts" pattern by Edna Chismore and great grand-daughter Rose Parkhill. This quilt was put together from pieces set in 1933.
